Boston Caribbean Fashion Week (BCFW) is more than a fashion event—it’s a cultural movement that inspires, empowers, and connects.
Every October, we create a vibrant space for fashion rooted in Caribbean identity and creativity. Through our runway shows, teen programs, and industry events, BCFW celebrates the people, stories, and styles that shape our community.
BCFW has been featured by major media outlets across Boston and beyond, including:
CBS Boston • Boston Herald • PBS Greater Boston • The Source * Caribe Magazine • Spark FM • BNN • Suffolk Journal • Enterprise News * Boston Globe
These stories help elevate the Caribbean fashion conversation, shining a spotlight on the creativity and talent in our community.
We celebrate who we are.
Boston Caribbean Fashion Week is a space where Caribbean and Black communities can see themselves fully—bold, creative, and proud. Through fashion, we tell our stories, honor our roots, and share the richness of our cultures with the world.
We create real opportunities.
BCFW gives emerging designers, stylists, and creatives a chance to be seen, to grow, and to connect with people who believe in them. For many, it’s their first runway show, their first press mention, or their first time realizing their work has real value.
We open doors for the next generation.
Through Teen Fashion Night Out and other programs, we show young people what’s possible. They meet mentors, learn how the industry works, and leave inspired to dream big and build something of their own.
We build community.
At a time when so many people feel disconnected, BCFW brings us together. Whether you’re in the audience, on the runway, or behind the scenes, you feel part of something special—something made with love, purpose, and pride.
We choose joy.
Even in hard times, we believe in celebration. We believe in color, in style, in showing up for each other. Fashion is our joy and our strength—and at BCFW, joy is always in style.
