BCFW AVANT GARDE COMPETITON TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ELIGIBILITY: The avant-garde design fashion competition ("Competition") is open to all individuals who are at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and immediate family members of the competition organizers and sponsors are not eligible to participate. Entrants that live outside the City of Boston are responsible for their own accommodations and transportation with regards to getting to the venue the day of the event on October 18, 2024.

2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Entries must be original designs created by the entrant and must not have been previously published or exhibited. Each entrant may submit up to three designs for consideration. All designs must be submitted in a digital format via the competition website and must be accompanied by a short description of the design concept.

3. JUDGING: The entries will be judged by a panel of industry professionals who will evaluate the designs based on their creativity, originality, craftsmanship, and overall visual impact. The judges' decision is final and binding.

4. PRIZES: The top winner will receive a cash prizes and their designs will be featured in a boutique store in Boston for a month. The prize money and other rewards will be announced prior to the start of the competition. The second place winner will receive an award for People's Choice. 

5. RIGHTS: By entering the competition, the entrant grants the competition organizers and sponsors the right to use their designs, names, and likenesses for promotional purposes. The entrant retains all ownership rights to their designs.

6.  INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: The entrant represents and warrants that their designs are original and do not infringe on any third-party rights. The entrant indemnifies the competition organizers and sponsors against any claims of infringement brought by third parties.

7. LIABILITY: The competition organizers and sponsors are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur as a result of participation in the competition or the use of any prize awarded. The entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the competition organizers and sponsors from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever arising out of or related to the entrant's participation in the competition.

8. DISQUALIFICATION: The competition organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the eligibility requirements, violates the entry requirements, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

9. MODIFICATION: The competition organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time for any reason.

10. LAW: The Competition is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the competition is conducted.

11. AGREEMENT: By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to these terms and conditions and to the decisions of the competition organizers, which are final and binding.
